Vera Cruz in Caravaca (Spain)


The Cross of Caravaca is, according to Christian tradition, a relic of the Cross on which Jesus Christ was crucified and who found Saint Helena. It is conserved in a reliquary in the shape of a patriarchal cross with a double horizontal arm (7 cm higher and 10 cm lower) and a vertical one (17 cm), in the Basilica of the Real Alcázar de la Vera Cruz in Caravaca de la Cruz (Region of Murcia, Spain) and is a religious heritage of the Royal and Illustrious Brotherhood of the Most Holy and Vera Cruz de Caravaca.
